At Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, I work as an Assistant Professor of Statistics and research statistical learning, feature selection, and high-dimensional data analysis. My publications include work on feature selection for high-dimensional microarray gene expression data.
I’ve also published research on ensemble methods, machine learning, and fuzzy time series forecasting. My work includes the R package OkNNE, a k-nearest neighbours ensemble for regression.
I supervise M.Phil. research on topics including gene selection, survival analysis, and forecasting. I hold a Ph.D. in Statistics and Machine Learning from Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan.
