Mpendulo Simelane

I wrote, designed, developed, programmed, scored, animated and directed Dead Dead Oxygen.
Both the vanilla version as well as the arcade HBCF version.

In both versions, the goal is to reach the bottom of a mystical Southern African lake to exorcise a demon that has been possessing and turning all the fish into monsters.

Promptly after the the annual Pursuing Pixels Game Jam of 2023, i began working on and remaking 2 versions of my very first game: "Projek, The Floor Is Lava"(PTFIL)
I had released 2 versions:
- The vanilla version: time based platformer where the goal for the player is to make to the end of a maze befor time runs out.

- The survival version: player must reach the end before being engulfed by lava

From the 14th of May to the 21st(2023), i took part in the annual Pursuing Pixels game jam and developed Tumaininchian Flight Simulator for the theme "penalized" where you lose your rank as a fighter pilot on each death.
A week later, i released an arcade version in which the player scores points and upgrades and moves up ranks on each successful level/mission.

In March of 2021 I began official production of my very first commercial game titled: Kelly White Super Yellow Wolfe. A non linear game about a young aspiring pilot named Kelly who dreams of flying into the far reaches of space to save her race.
