I’m an Assistant Professor in Translation and English Language, and I build teaching and translation practice on rigorous research and real-world language use. I’ve also worked as an Interpreter (Translation) at the Sudan National Audit Chamber, and as an English Language Lecturer and Translator, strengthening my ability to deliver accurate communication in demanding contexts.
My scholarship focuses on translation quality and linguistics, especially the impact of artificial intelligence on language translation and AI-generated text tools. I’ve authored peer-reviewed journal work on machine-based versus human-based translation performance, ethical considerations in AI text, and translation problem analysis, and I’ve contributed to research spanning authoring and evaluation through peer reviewing and academic membership.
