What I'm looking for

I'm looking to modernise and evolve live Ruby on Rails systems, build reliable APIs and delivery infrastructure, and work remotely across US or European hours.

At Tradelegs, I became the majority author of an inherited, revenue-carrying Ruby on Rails platform, writing 483 of 738 commits while keeping it live. I've designed 30+ REST APIs, carried framework upgrades through the full test suite, and built the CI/CD and test harness that made incremental change safe.

I also built 200+ React components for dashboards and monitoring interfaces, operated Redis-backed background processing, and replaced a starving scheduler with a sensor-driven design rolled out behind a feature flag. Earlier, I delivered complete Rails applications for freelance clients and built Factoryformance end to end with Rails 7.2, Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, Playwright, and GitLab CI.
