I am a pragmatic software engineer with experience designing and implementing scalable, enterprise-grade solutions across banking and enterprise clients. I have built APIs, microservices, and backend systems while improving deployment velocity and system modularity.
At Stanbic Bank Uganda I developed and maintained enterprise-level APIs and CI/CD pipelines that accelerated deployments and supported a business-as-a-platform model. I also implemented microservices architectures to reduce component coupling and improve maintainability.
Previously I led DevOps initiatives at Cognative insights, architecting high-throughput systems on AWS and Azure, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD tools to automate infrastructure and delivery. I focused on availability, monitoring and secure identity integration.
I hold a BSc in Software Engineering from Makerere University and AWS certifications; I enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to translate stakeholder needs into robust, production-ready solutions.
