What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher with over nine years of experience in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for diverse learners. My journey began at Kent State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature, culture, and translation, complemented by a minor in English as a Second Language. Since then, I have been committed to empowering students at Wake County Public Schools, where I have developed and implemented instructional materials tailored to meet the needs of my students.
In addition to my role as an ESL teacher, I also serve as a Cheerleading and Stunt Coach, where I teach essential cheerleading skills and create complex routines that build foundational skills. My experience in coaching has honed my ability to establish a professional and respectful environment, ensuring that all student-athletes feel safe and supported. I also work as a bartender, where I excel in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, further enhancing my communication and teamwork skills.
