Luis Mora

I’m an Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in electrical design, load calculations, and technical documentation for residential, commercial, and energy projects. I’ve delivered engineering solutions for international clients, including U.S.-based projects, and I’m known for taking designs from concept to implementation.

Since 2019, I’ve been working remotely as an Electrical Design Engineer at MODIA Home Entertainment, where I design electrical and lighting systems for high-end residential projects in Dallas, TX. I perform load calculations and electrical distribution planning, develop AutoCAD drawings and specifications for installation teams, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to keep designs accurate and on schedule.

Previously, I supported field measurements and CAD development for healthcare facility expansion at Clínica Colina and helped design a 70 m smart operating room. I also conducted field surveys, designed power distribution and energy-efficient lighting layouts, prepared technical documentation and procurement support, and supervised on-site installations at Global Energy—while my PDVSA thesis work deepened my understanding of electrical systems, consumption patterns, and connected loads. Today, I’m expanding my expertise in data analysis and machine learning applied to energy systems.
