Molly Jackson
@mollyjackson
Entry-level lab technician and GIS-minded environmental researcher, combining field data collection with diagnostic assay support.
What I'm looking for
I’m a lab technician and early-career environmental professional who blends hands-on lab work with real-world environmental data skills. I’ve built my approach around accuracy, strong procedure, and solving problems quickly.
At Genova Diagnostics, I process plasma and urine for a wide array of assays, and I perform daily instrument and computer maintenance and troubleshooting. I’m comfortable working with both technical systems and ongoing lab workflows.
Alongside lab experience, I strengthen my environmental toolkit through GIS and field research. I use ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online to build maps, work with attribute tables, and support projects using satellite data. I thoroughly and genuinely enjoy using ArcGIS to the point where I use it in my free time for fun.
I also bring field and mapping experience from stream gauging and geologic mapping—using stream gauges and velocity meters in the field, and using Brunton compasses to capture strike and dip for geologic mapping. I’ve learned to turn measurements into clear outputs through maps, research, and presentations.
