Molly Greenwood
@mollygreenwood
I’m a senior Registered Nurse and clinical education leader improving quality through evidence-based education.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Registered Nurse with 13+ years across Medical-Surgical, Perioperative, Pre-Op, and PACU care, and I bring that clinical depth into leadership. I translate complex clinical information into actionable care plans while staying current with regulatory standards and evidence-based practice.
As a Clinical Education Manager at Maine Health Memorial Hospital (2022-present), I lead strategic planning and execution of allied health education and workforce development across multiple clinical units. I manage orientation, competency validation, and continuing education for 250+ clinical staff, and I collaborate with executive leadership to align education with quality, patient safety, and operational performance goals.
I’ve spearheaded programs that strengthen onboarding and long-term retention, including a New Graduate Nurse Residency Program and a Student Nurse Externship Program. I also designed a Cross-Training Program that lets nurses rotate to higher-acuity partner hospitals, implemented an LNA training initiative to address workforce shortages, and rolled out the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Program to improve CPR competence, regulatory compliance, and emergency response readiness.
I continue active clinical practice as a Registered Nurse and serve as a Charge Nurse across Medical-Surgical and Perioperative units, mentoring staff and supporting interdisciplinary collaboration during shifts. Previously, I worked as a Clinical Nursing Instructor (2015-2018), where I educated and mentored undergraduate nursing students and helped strengthen curriculum and transition-to-practice readiness.
