I've spent 40 years in oil and gas, leading exploration, production, drilling, maintenance, and supply chain operations across Algeria.
As CEO of ENAFOR, I governed a 7,500-person national drilling company operating 52 rigs and completing more than 180 oil and gas wells annually. I allocated about fifteen rigs to joint ventures, helping deliver ENAFOR's highest revenue since its 1966 creation, a 39% revenue increase, 205% net-profit increase, 21% more wells completed, early repayment of 15 billion DA in bank debt, and more than 600 new jobs.
At Sonatrach joint ventures with Anadarko, ENI, BHP, Hess, and Petronas, I managed large-scale field development and production under production sharing agreements. My responsibilities covered oil and gas assets producing up to 300,000 barrels per day of liquids and 25 million Sm3 of gas, alongside annual CAPEX and OPEX budgets of approximately $500 million.
I've also chaired management committees and served on boards across major Sonatrach partnerships, while bringing practical experience in EPC execution, commissioning, procurement, governance, strategy, and industrial electricity.
