MOHAMMAD UMAR FAROOQ

I'm pursuing a Master's in Transport System Engineering at Sapienza Università di Roma, where I'm working on pedestrian-risk analysis in Rome and optimizing signal settings along Via Tuscolana.

My recent work includes developing a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for Piacenza, with proposals for BRT, cycling networks, parking reforms, and freight management supported by traffic studies and SWOT analysis. I've also simulated signalized intersections in PTV VISSIM and designed highway geometry in Autodesk Civil 3D.

At OTS INFRATECH, I interpreted construction drawings, supported scheduling and site coordination, monitored materials and costs, and contributed to sustainable construction strategies.

My civil engineering background also includes residential construction supervision, urban water-resource research, sewage treatment plant design, and machine-learning-based concrete grade prediction. I bring practical experience in Python, SQL, MATLAB, QGIS, and transport modelling tools alongside leadership in student placement and technical events.
