At HCLTech, I participate in ETL logic reviews and data quality discussions for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia account’s enterprise banking data platform. I follow regulated data protocols, including Git-based version control, peer code reviews, and technical documentation.
On my Walmart Retail Analytics project, I built an ELT pipeline across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers using PostgreSQL, dbt, and Docker. Incremental loading cut raw-to-analytics processing time by about 60%.
I added data quality checks for freshness, uniqueness, nulls, referential integrity, and source-to-target row counts, and orchestrated the pipeline with Apache Airflow. I also designed a star-schema model with SCD Type 2 snapshots and a denormalized reporting table.
Earlier at HCLTech, I developed REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL. My certifications include AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate, Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate.
