At Egypt's National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences, I develop geospatial workflows and analytical pipelines using multi-sensor satellite data for environmental monitoring and spatial planning. My research includes automated oil-spill detection using deep learning, SAR satellite data, and Sentinel imagery along Egyptian coasts.
I've contributed to World Bank, European Union, and African Union projects spanning marine spatial planning, coastal ecosystem mapping, climate vulnerability, coral reef monitoring, and marine plastic pollution. I also deliver training in remote sensing, GIS, SAR oil-spill detection, QGIS, Google Earth Engine, and Python for GIS.
