What I'm looking for

I’m seeking entry-level opportunities in sustainable land and water resource management, where I can apply remote sensing and GIS to environmental monitoring and data-driven geological decision-making, ideally with FAO, IWMI, or UNEP.

I’m a results-driven geology and chemistry graduate with expertise in mineral exploration, environmental monitoring, and advanced GIS/remote sensing analysis. I combine satellite data processing with spatial analysis to support field-relevant geological insights and land-use studies.

In research, I processed ASTER imagery in ENVI using Band Ratios, Minimum Noise Fraction (MNF), and Crosta Technique to map lithology and hydrothermal alteration zones. I also extracted lineaments using PALSAR datasets and identified optimal mineralization targets through spatial analysis.

My Land Use/Land Cover work strengthened my ability to translate Earth observation outputs into environmental outcomes. I analyzed Landsat time-series data to extract NDVI, NDWI, NDSI, Fractional Vegetation Cover (FVC), and Land Surface Temperature (LST), generating TVDI models and LULC classifications to quantify historical vegetation change and regional desertification.

I’ve also built practical industry exposure through internships as a Summer Trainee at General Petroleum Company, Agiba Petroleum Company, and Misr Phosphate Company. Alongside this, I proved leadership as SME Student Chapter President—resolving organizational challenges, driving outreach, and facilitating technical sessions for 50+ members.
