MOHAMED RABIE

I spent four-plus years in banking at the National Bank of Egypt, working across credit and risk analysis, treasury, and customer-facing roles, which is where I first got hands on with financial data, compliance, and decision making under real constraints.

Since then I've built a focused analytics skill set: I'm Microsoft Certified as a Power BI Data Analyst Associate, hold the IBM Data Analyst and Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst professional certificates, and I'm finishing a Master's in Business Analytics at Universiti Sains Malaysia (CGPA 3.94). Earlier, I completed a Master's in Public Policy in South Korea (KOICA scholarship) and an MBA in Japan focused on IT and operations (JICA scholarship).

I like turning messy data into decisions people can act on. My portfolio on GitHub includes a divorce-risk prediction model built on validated psychological assessment data and deployed via a live API, a Power BI suite built on a 10-table star schema for supply-chain reporting, and a SQL Server + Power BI analysis of 38,000+ bank loans, among others.

I also work well on distributed, cross-cultural teams: as part of a 5,000+ student global virtual project (X-Culture), my team ranked in the top 8.7% of over 1,200 teams from 125 universities across 42 countries. I've lived and studied in Egypt, South Korea, and Japan, completed my Business Analytics master's from Malaysia online, and I'm a native Arabic speaker who has studied and worked entirely in English for over a decade.

I'm also interested in how analytics intersects with sustainable finance my MPP thesis looked at climate risk strategy in the Egyptian banking sector.

Right now I'm focused on remote Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or Financial/Business Analyst roles where I can combine that financial-sector background with the analytics side.
