I am a Senior QA Engineer with over a decade of experience in the software industry, specializing in quality assurance and test automation. My journey began with a BSc in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Peradeniya, where I developed a strong foundation in software testing methodologies. Currently, I work remotely at Optiva, where I analyze user requirements and specifications, converting them into comprehensive test cases documented using Testrail. My expertise in automating UI test cases with the Cucumber framework and Java has significantly enhanced the efficiency of our testing processes.

Throughout my career, I have successfully executed tests, collected server traces, and collaborated closely with developers to identify and resolve software bugs. My role also involves leading and mentoring junior QA engineers, particularly in automation testing, ensuring that our team maintains high standards of quality. Previously, I worked at Crossover and Pearson, where I honed my skills in automated test scripting, test planning, and regression testing, contributing to higher ROI through effective test automation strategies.
