At Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative (DEPI), Round 5, I’m completing six graded mini-projects and an end-to-end capstone as a Data Analyst Trainee. I use Python and SQL for data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and database design.
For my Superstore Sales & Customer Dashboards project, I built two linked Tableau dashboards on a SQL Server gold layer. I added dynamic KPIs with year-over-year change and filters, and corrected inflated order counts by sourcing Order ID from the silver layer.
In my SQL Data Warehouse & Business Analytics project, I built a retail warehouse using Medallion architecture and a star schema. I automated ETL with Python, BULK INSERT, and stored procedures, then created customer and product KPI views.
My Superstore Retail Analytics project used a Python pipeline to analyze retail orders and identify profit drivers. I found a negative relationship between discounts and profit, traced most losses to three product categories, and delivered visualizations and a KPI report. My accounting degree from Alexandria University grounds this work in financial reporting and accounting fundamentals.
