What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can combine hands-on research with teaching and leadership, learn in a collaborative environment, and contribute through curiosity, clear communication, and community-centered impact.

I’m a motivated Princeton University first-year with hands-on experience in academic research, leadership, and community service, currently based in Granville, OH. I bring curiosity, drive, and a collaborative spirit to new opportunities.

At Nippon Medical School, I worked as a Research Intern, mentored by Dr. Iwai (MD PhD) and Dr. Asatsuma (PhD). I supported hypothesis-driven immunology research using molecular and cellular techniques, including mouse tissue processing, primary cell culture, Northern/Western blotting, plasmid mini/midipreps, and flow cytometry (FACS) acquisition and interpretation. I also independently constructed and validated a recombinant plasmid.

Alongside research, I teach and lead. I served as a Teaching Assistant at Capital Tokyo International School, supporting translation and interpretation between Japanese and English and helping ensure smooth class sessions across grades 1–7. I also taught English and World Culture while promoting cross-cultural understanding through games and interactive dances.

I continue to build community through coaching and campus involvement. As a Figure Skating Instructor and Special Olympics Figure Skating Coach, I curate lesson plans, lead group warm-ups for 20+ advanced skaters, and coach show numbers; I’ve also been active in leadership roles through student organizations and volunteering, including Japanese tutoring and mentoring through healthcare shadowing.
