At DC Public Schools, I teach foundational reading and English Language Arts while supporting multilingual learners with developmental delays and disabilities. I create and implement individualized education programs and use assessment to guide student growth.
Across FCPS and Meridian PCS, I taught students from PreK through eighth grade, including learners with multiple and moderate disabilities. I also created a middle-school social-emotional curriculum that supported restorative practices, academic habits, and school culture.
Before teaching, I developed library education programs for children and adults, increasing attendance at after-school programs by 5%. I also managed four parking facilities, supervised 15 employees, and increased revenue 300% through contract renegotiation, staff training, and operational improvements.
