What I'm looking for

I seek an entry-level role in animal health or biosecurity where I can apply hands-on care, strengthen lab skills, and contribute to animal welfare and disease prevention.

I am an aspiring animal health technician currently completing a Veterinary Public and Animal Health course at the Guyana School of Agriculture. I bring practical knowledge in animal health, nutrition, disease transmission, and biosecurity built through coursework and hands-on practice.

My work history includes customer-facing roles at Qualfon and Teleperformance where I developed strong communication and listening skills, and a delivery clerk role at Gafsons Industries Ltd where I coordinated logistics and maintained accurate records.

I am skilled in animal restraint, treating basic animal wounds, basic laboratory practices, and implementing biosecurity measures to prevent and control disease. I combine technical animal-care abilities with a service-oriented mindset and attention to procedural detail.

I am passionate about nature and wildlife, enjoy reading, and am eager to apply my developing veterinary public-health skills in a practical role that supports animal welfare, biosecurity, and community education.
