At DLA Piper, I support M&A, LBO, equity investment, and debt financing transactions, including more than $300M in M&A-related matters and over $500M in financings.
I coordinate diligence, transaction documents, closing deliverables, and post-closing work while translating legal and regulatory issues into practical guidance for deal teams, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders. I also draft and negotiate commercial agreements, governance materials, equity and option arrangements, and NDAs to protect company interests and support efficient execution.
Previously, at the U.S. Department of Justice, I audited more than 30 external entities receiving federal funds, assessed compliance with statutes and grant requirements, and recommended sustainable remediation for operational deficiencies. I prepared risk assessments, audit findings, and compliance recommendations to improve internal controls and audit readiness.
My experience also includes legal and HR work with the Pittsburgh Penguins and title-dispute analysis at Fidelity National Title Insurance Group. I bring a finance background, a J.D. earned with High Honors, and hands-on experience with legal technology including Harvey AI, Ebrevia, Kira Systems, Litera, Westlaw, and LexisNexis.
