Michael Ruff

I’m a Client Services Representative focused on making client-facing systems accurate, reliable, and easy to trust. I’ve operated in environments where attention to detail, fast follow-through, and clear communication directly affect consumer outcomes.

From 2020 to 2024, I interfaced between company and client consumer databases to ensure both sides stayed up-to-date. I also provided validation of debt statements for consumers and produced month-to-date and month-end reports for senior leadership, helping stakeholders stay aligned and informed.

Outside of office work, I’ve brought the same discipline and people-first mindset to teaching and hospitality. As an Afterschool Teacher, I supervise elementary school-aged children in a structured afterschool-care setting, and in food service roles I coordinated with hosts, cooks, and managers to deliver a consistent guest experience.

Academically, I pair analytical thinking with strong writing habits, including knowledge of Chicago and MLA styles, and a background in formal and classical logic. I also write and edit with intent—earning recognition for short fiction—because I genuinely enjoy turning complex ideas into clear, engaging communication.
