At Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME Group), I designed and implemented COBOL applications for electronic trading systems. I also contributed to the Globex electronic trading launch.
I migrated 500+ COBOL applications from Tandem to Linux, saving approximately $1M annually. I also integrated NYMEX and COMEX systems into the CME platform with zero downtime.
At Informatic Technologies (Contractor – CME Group), I supported the CME Price Reporting System for market data entry, dissemination, and display. I developed, tested, and debugged isCOBOL applications on Linux integrated with Java systems, and supported new product launches through QA validation and test automation.
