I'm currently leading technical support at GivEnergy South Africa, commissioning commercial and residential solar PV and battery energy storage systems, diagnosing inverter and battery faults, and supporting installers, engineering partners, and project teams.

I've commissioned a 500 kW PCS/586 kWh BESS plant and a 100 kW ATESS/144 kWh industrial BESS installation, and designed a 500 kW/1 MWh energy storage system in Zimbabwe to address grid instability. I worked with the GivEnergy UK software team on firmware development for voltage and frequency instability and support system integration, optimisation, remote monitoring, and performance analysis.

My background spans Must Energy, IG3N, Peak Power Solution, and Eskom substation environments, covering high-voltage systems, electrical metering, RTU installations, DC battery backup, protection equipment, transformers, and PLC exposure. I bring hands-on commissioning, fault finding, technical training, project coordination, and engineering documentation experience to energy projects.
