Megan Mulhern

I am an enthusiastic Special Education Teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master's in Special Education. Since 2021, I have been dedicated to designing and adapting English Language Arts lessons that align with state standards while catering to the individualized education goals of my students. My passion for education drives me to create engaging and accessible learning experiences for diverse learners in grades K-8.

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with general education teachers to ensure continuity in lesson content and have developed student-centered learning activities utilizing digital tools such as Google Classroom, Canva, and Jamboard. My approach is rooted in evidence-based strategies, particularly in leading small-group reading and writing interventions that target essential skills like decoding, fluency, and comprehension. I believe in the power of data-driven instruction, regularly implementing formative assessments to adjust my teaching methods based on student progress.
