What I'm looking for

I seek roles where I can advance medical device development, regulatory guidance, and capacity building in academic or global health settings, focusing on impact-driven, collaborative teams.

I am a biomedical engineering professor and military academic with deep experience in medical device design, health technology management, and biomaterials research. I lead curricula, supervise graduate and undergraduate research, and have founded and chaired academic departments and advisory groups.

My research spans drug development, polymer and ceramide-based biomaterials, diagnostic device development, and clinical engineering; I have published extensively, hold a Korean patent, and contributed to WHO and other international technical committees.

I collaborate across industry, government and global health organizations to translate research into regulation, standards, and affordable medical technologies for low- and middle-income settings.
