At Vanguard Medical, I performed finite element analysis of medical devices to assess stress, deformation, and failure against safety and regulatory standards. I also coordinated design implementation with the UK manufacturing team.
For the SmartCot connector, I assessed locking and pipe-clamping mechanisms using FEA, tolerance analysis, hand calculations, and nonlinear material assessment. I revised geometry and materials to achieve a test-compliant product.
In my continuing research at BUET, I built a 3D finite element model of the human eye and studied how pressure and scleral stiffness affect optic nerve head stress and strain. I’m continuing material-sensitivity and localized blood-pressure analyses as part of manuscript development.
For DBL Pharmaceuticals Ltd., I built models of Bexihaler and Sykona Haler and used ANSYS Fluent to compare airflow and particle behavior. My other projects include a low-cost ankle-foot prosthesis and a machine-learning model for glaucoma detection.
