What I'm looking for

I'm looking for an engineering role where I can improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste and defects, apply Lean and Kaizen methods, and continue developing through hands-on cross-functional projects.

I've improved automotive manufacturing processes at the Automotive Industry Development Center Eastern Cape through Lean, Kaizen, troubleshooting, and cross-functional process improvement work.

I led a Kaizen project at Stainless Accessories that reduced Tube Mill changeover time by 33%, from 330 to 220 minutes, by standardizing procedures and eliminating waste. At Aeroklas Duys, I led an initiative that reduced mis-weld defects at Robot 1 by 50%, from 86% to 36%, through process controls and operator training.

I use MATLAB, Excel, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and Simulink to support data analysis, technical drawing, documentation, and efficiency improvement. My mechanical engineering education also includes materials testing, structural integrity, control systems, thermal systems, PLC analysis, and mechanical design.

I'm committed to continuous improvement, quality, and practical plant optimization, with experience developing operator documentation and coordinating across production teams.
