Mayuresh Patil

I'm building robotic systems and mechanical prototypes at The Innovation Story, where I design assemblies, guide fabrication and testing, and mentor students in robotics, SolidWorks, and mechanical design.

As Mechanical Subsystem Lead for Team Vishwa Rover Club, I lead 27 students developing a Mars rover and support sponsorship through technical presentations. Our work placed 23rd among 110 international teams in the International Rover Challenge.

During my R&D internship at Gauges Bourdon India, I developed a ratchet anti-slip pointer mechanism for pressure gauges, designed poka-yoke and torsion spring locking mechanisms, and analysed more than 10,000 dead-stock components to optimize inventory.

I've also designed an adaptive suspension and modular wheel for planetary rovers, plus a 19-servo autonomous hexapod robot integrating thermal, ultrasonic, and photo sensors. I represented Maharashtra and Goa at the Jawaharlal Nehru National Science Exhibition.
