Working on site at Qualcomm as Customer Resident Engineer at Mercedes Benz, fixing and triaging issues related to core multimedia areas (camera/video codec) on Gen i2/i3 project on MBUX infotainment system.

End to end product development of Crony IVI (Nxp, IMXRT1175 and Telechips, TCC8972 based) in vehicle infotainment system. Contributed to system and software architecture development of components like Bluetooth, Bootloader, Tuner, Audio, etc.

Integrated Synaptics VS640 AMP SDK in RDK V 4.0 framework code (yocto based). Built, integrated and tested RDK resident app in RDK Lightning framework and HAL layers with RDK code.

Worked as Software Architect/Project Lead for Hyundai KIA Motor Company on Surround View System project, analyzing customer requirements and features related to SoC application and framework modules. Also contributed to projects for GM, Geely, BMW, Ford, Uber, and Daimler AG.

Understood Marvell 88DE3100 set top box chip architecture, peripherals, DMA engine and Qdeo modules. Made Android application to test different media files by playing them on Android based STB and integrated ffmpeg parser as Android ndk module.

Worked on enabling the v4l2 and vx6953 sensor on Android Jelly Bean on MSM8X55 Qualcomm target and verifying the camera/camcorder functionality. Reproduced and analyzed monkey/stability issues related to camera/camcorder on Qualcomm targets.

Developed the IP Camera on TMS320DM368 Leopard Board.

Performed unit, system and regression testing of Tizen (Linux) mobile platform modules (Filemanager, System Security, Internet, Webkit). Developed an address book application in JAVA on Android platform.

Developed multimedia framework which is OS independent and can be used on Samsung's multimedia products like DTV, Camera, and Camcorders. Wrote complete driver for graphics acceleration on Broadcom BCM7401/2 set-top box chip.

Worked on JPEG decoding, video port verification and validation on TI DMSoC using Verisim RTL simulator and QuickTurn emulator. Implemented chip support library for video port and wrote test cases in C.

Implemented multiple audio and video codecs using MATLAB, C, and Simulink on TMS320DM642 and ARM platforms. Performed speech compression using LPC technique and adaptive filtering using LMS algorithm.

Worked on multiple automation projects using SCADA Movicon, MFC and VC++ for Enercon Systems (energy management).

Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation, completed in May 2001. Final year project involved implementation of ITU-T G.728 LD-CELP and CELP speech coding algorithms using MATLAB and C on a Texas Instruments TMS320C30 kit.
