At Abyss Solutions, I drove the development of a cloud-native automation platform that turned manual HPC procedures into monitored, reproducible pipelines. I co-designed Prefect-Stages, which supported local and cloud environments and increased workload capacity while reducing node requirements and costs.
I also built a cloud-agnostic migration framework for production pipelines, first using AWS Batch Array Jobs and later extending it to run on GCP via a Ray cluster. This reduced processing time from 2–3 weeks to 4 hours.
For a legacy C++ octree pipeline, I created a deterministic, backwards-compatible parallel version that cut runtime from 24 hours to under 2. I also built a versioned Docker image system with a colleague, using formatting and Pytest checks to gate delivery.
At Abyss Solutions, I monitored Kubernetes workloads on GCP with Grafana and gained exposure to Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices. Earlier, I delivered a ticketing system, automated software-licensing records, and built an analytics reporting page during my internship at NanoSonics.
