I'm a bilingual professional based in Taipei, Taiwan, with 14+ years of experience spanning academic editing, English instruction, and client-facing support roles.

For over six years, I worked as a manuscript editor at Edanz, providing quality-control copy editing on scientific research papers for non-native English-speaking academics preparing work for publication. This built a strong foundation in precision, consistency, and clear technical communication — skills I bring to any writing- or editing-focused role.

Alongside editing, I've spent years teaching English one-on-one through Preply, working with a diverse roster of adult learners — from IB students to nuclear materials researchers — on everything from exam prep to open-ended discussion-based lessons. This work has sharpened my ability to communicate clearly, adapt on the fly, and build rapport quickly with people from different backgrounds.

I'm now looking to bring my editing precision, teaching adaptability, and cross-cultural communication skills (fluent in Mandarin, B1–B2) to a remote role in customer success, instructional design, technical writing, or editorial work.
