At TEKsystems, I support Microsoft data center operations in Des Moines. In my current Lead Data Center Technician role, I continue work supporting Microsoft.
As a Datacenter Technician, I decommissioned network hardware without disrupting active production services and followed disposal protocols to protect customer data.
I contributed critical components to the Management Fabric Network (MGFX) migration, installing network hardware and auditing and mapping fiber connections. I also created cable maps for the new MGFX layout and worked with PSM4, Multi-Mode, and Single-Mode fiber.
Earlier, as a Monitoring Specialist at ESIS S.r.l., I monitored machines and services with Nagios and used Linux commands and database queries for initial diagnostics. My network experience also includes Cisco infrastructure at Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, where I monitored and upgraded the network and troubleshot VLANs.
