Mauricio De La Quintana

I’m a fullstack software engineer based in Germany, blending product-minded frontend work with backend services that scale. I’ve built end-to-end systems using JavaScript/TypeScript stacks and modern cloud-native tooling.

In my recent work, I’ve developed complex APIs and gateways using Go (Golang) and microservices, integrating CockroachDB and Apache Kafka. I’m also shaping API management solutions using Apigee on premises, with an eye on reliability and performance.

Earlier, as a Fullstack Developer at Mojix, I delivered features with Java, Node.js, and UI frameworks like AngularJS, Backbone.js, ExtJS, jQuery, HTML5, TypeScript, and CSS. I also worked on IoT projects—building dashboards to control and manage RFID devices with Java and Redis.

I bring a strong engineering foundation from a BSc in Informatik (Universidad Mayor de San Andres), including a thesis on “Cardiovascular disease Bracelet detection with Machine Learning adjusted for people living in high altitueds.” I enjoy turning complex requirements into clean systems, and I’m motivated by building developer-friendly infrastructure.
