I am a dedicated public health expert with a Ph.D. in Public Health and over 18 years of experience in HIV, STI, and Viral Hepatitis policy writing and program management. My work has focused on vulnerable populations, including female sex workers, men who have sex with men, and transgender individuals. I have successfully coordinated clinical services across multiple drop-in centers, impacting the lives of over 45,000 individuals through comprehensive prevention, care, and treatment services.
In my role as Deputy Director of Clinical Services, I have not only led the development of national policies but also trained staff and mentored young researchers globally. My academic experience as an Assistant Professor at Aga Khan University has allowed me to contribute to curriculum development and research supervision, fostering the next generation of public health leaders. I am passionate about establishing collaborative research initiatives and have presented my findings at over 20 international conferences, advocating for effective health interventions.
