What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role in preclinical imaging or medical physics where I can validate quantification methods for SPECT/CT, collaborate with clinical and imaging teams, and use Python/MATLAB for modeling and data quality analysis.

I’m a Biomedical Engineering research intern working at Minerva Imaging ApS, where my master’s thesis focuses on dual-isotope preclinical SPECT/CT imaging. I investigate Lu-177/Tb-161 crosstalk using a Mediso SPECT/CT system, and I develop and validate correction strategies grounded in optimized energy windowing and mathematical modeling.

I also contribute hands-on to preclinical imaging operations: I perform equipment calibration for Mediso SPECT/CT and PET/CT, conduct activity calibration and uniformity testing, and run data quality control with ROI drawing and image analysis using FUSION Imaging Software. Previously, I completed an internship in biomechanical analysis at BBSoF S.r.l., using face tracking to compute the Face Mobility Index (FMI) to assess treatment response for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
