Matteo Cialone

@matteocialone

Materials researcher at University of Genova who developed and validated superconducting materials for cryogenic, high-field conditions.

Italy
Message

At the University of Genova, I defined and carried out development and characterization plans for superconducting materials used in demanding cryogenic, high-field conditions. I coordinated laboratory testing and linked process parameters and microstructure to performance to support materials optimization.

At CNR-SPIN, I developed processing routes for superconducting thin films and optimized textured metallic substrates and thermal treatments. At the Autonomous University of Barcelona, I studied magnetoelectric effects in electrolyte-gated porous structures; I’m also a co-inventor of European patent EP3940702A1.
