Matheus Corteletti Delfino
@matheuscortelettidel
Backend & platform engineer building production microservices, Kubernetes operators, and industrial simulation software.
What I'm looking for
I’m a backend & platform engineer with five years building and operating production microservices, blending Java/Spring Boot and event-driven architectures on AWS with careful relational modeling. I’ve also spent three years leading a small engineering team, setting technical direction and owning architecture decisions.
In foreign-trade (comex) technology, I designed API-first microservices that support import/export operations and removed synchronous coupling through AWS SQS and EventBridge orchestration. I operated containerized deployments on AWS ECS/Fargate with CI/CD in GitHub Actions, and built Python automation/RPA on Lambda to eliminate more than 2,200 hours per month of recurring manual work.
Today I’m working in Go and Rust on cloud-native and industrial systems software, including a Kubernetes operator that applies the reconciliation pattern to supervisory process control. I’m also developing an open-source deterministic simulation runtime that enforces model composition rules at compile time to fail fast rather than at runtime.
My formal training in control and automation engineering gives unusual depth at the boundary between distributed software and physical processes. In my ongoing thesis, I’m porting Tennessee Eastman supervisory control to a continuously running Rust simulation service and building a Go Kubernetes operator that observes plant state and reconciles it against supervisory policy, exposing variables via gRPC and OPC-UA.
