What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a cybersecurity internship where I can monitor alerts, investigate security events, and support vulnerability assessments, while growing my skills in security operations and GRC through hands-on mentorship and structured reporting.

I’m a cybersecurity student pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Information Assurance & Cybersecurity, focused on building strong fundamentals in risk awareness, information review, and analytical problem-solving. I’m detail-oriented and especially interested in governance, risk, compliance (GRC), and information security, and I’m actively seeking a cybersecurity internship for hands-on experience.

In my Network Security & Monitoring lab, I monitored network traffic and analyzed security alerts to identify suspicious activity and separate potential threats from false positives. I investigated alert data and documented findings and recommended actions using structured reporting practices, and I performed vulnerability assessments and service enumeration with Nmap. I also built an AI-Assisted Student Dashboard using React/Vite and used AI-assisted development tools to support planning and troubleshooting, strengthening how I manage information and follow workflows.
