At Netcare N1 City Hospital, I provided medical nutrition therapy for hospitalized and out-patients and managed care plans for acute and chronic conditions. I also ran the private practice, including scheduling, billing, staff supervision, and marketing.
At Tiervlei Trial Centre, I assisted with clinical nutrition trials, screened and enrolled participants, and coordinated research data collection and compliance procedures.
I lectured nutrition-related courses at the University of the Western Cape and Stellenbosch University, and supported students’ academic development. My research work at those universities included nutrition and healthcare projects, research protocols, and data reporting.
My earlier clinical dietitian work included patient consultations, nutritional support, food service management, and industry projects. I hold a PhD in Nutritional Science and have contributed to peer-reviewed scientific publication and international presentation.
