Marwan Hossam

I am currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering at the Arab Academy For Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where I have honed my skills in software development and project management. My experience as an IT Member of IEEE SSCS AUSC has allowed me to collaborate with a diverse team to enhance the official IEEE Alex website, utilizing technologies such as TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js. I take pride in implementing robust security measures and conducting thorough testing to ensure the stability and accuracy of our APIs.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have worked on several innovative projects that showcase my technical abilities. One notable project is the development of a smart waste classification system using deep learning, where I trained a VGG16-based convolutional neural network to accurately identify and sort recyclable materials. This project not only involved advanced programming skills but also required me to build a mechanical prototype to physically sort waste, demonstrating my ability to integrate software with hardware solutions.

My passion for technology drives me to continuously learn and improve my skills. I am eager to contribute to projects that challenge me and allow me to grow as a software engineer. I thrive in collaborative environments and am excited about the opportunity to work on impactful projects that leverage my technical expertise.
