Marvellous Oduola
@marvellousoduola
Chemistry educator and research-driven chemist focused on translating lab science into impactful learning and analysis.
What I'm looking for
I’m a chemistry professional combining research training with teaching experience, bringing a rigorous, results-focused mindset to every experiment and lesson. My work centers on energy generation, environmental remediation, and chemistry that can move from characterization to real-world value.
In my final-year barium oxide nanomaterials project, I synthesized high-purity material using precipitation methods and supported it with FTIR and UV-visible analysis to confirm structural integrity and optical properties. I repeated characterization steps to ensure data reliability and consistency.
I also gained hands-on laboratory competence through pharmacognosy-focused research, where I executed maceration and Soxhlet extraction, performed phytochemical screenings, and used TLC with UV visualization and reagent-based detection to interpret alkaloid fractions. Alongside this, I developed strong analytical habits through water quality assessment and chemical testing workflows.
Now, as a chemistry teacher, I deliver curriculum-aligned instruction, supervise quantitative and qualitative practicals, and emphasize safety and laboratory etiquette. I’m motivated by environments that value scientific precision, mentoring, and continuous improvement in both teaching and applied chemical research.
