Maruthi User

I’m currently working as an Associate Professor in Mohan Babu University, Tirupati (from March 2024 onwards), where I teach interactive computer science courses at BCA and MCA levels. I also hold leadership responsibilities as In charge HOD in the department of Computer Applications.

Since September 2021, I’ve acted as a Research Supervisor for Liverpool John Moore University, UK, and Upgrad Education. My research focus is on Pattern Recognition, Image Processing, and Information Security, and I guide PhD scholars as well as 35+ MS thesis students and 50+ UG/PG project students.

Before this, I built strong teaching depth through roles at Dayananda Sagar University (2.6 years), Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (3 years), and Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (4 years). I’ve taught subjects including C, Computer Networks, Computer Organization, Data Structures, DBMS, C programming, Python Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Operating Systems, and Advanced Databases.

I combine academic rigor with practical impact through publications, patents, and broader scholarly service. I’m a book author/editor and have received awards including “International Young Scientist award” and “Best Faculty Award,” while also contributing as a reviewer and editorial board member across research venues.
