What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead and teach in Computer Science, while driving applied research in areas like medical imaging and intelligent computing. I enjoy mentoring students, supervising research, and building academic collaborations that produce measurable impact.

I’m a Professor & Principal with 29+ years in Computer Science and Engineering, combining long-term academic leadership with active research. My Ph.D. is in Computer Science and Engineering, and my thesis focused on automatic brain tumor detection from MRI using unsupervised segmentation techniques.

In my roles across Panimalar Engineering College and other institutions, I’ve served as Principal, Professor & Head, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer, supporting both teaching and student development. I’ve also supervised UG/PG/Ph.D. research and contributed to conference and journal review activities, ensuring rigorous, student-centered outcomes.

My research and interests span Medical Imaging, Mobile Computing, Wireless Network, Natural Language Processing, Soft Computing, and Fuzzy Logic. With a strong publication record (Scopus/ORCID/Google Scholar presence) and multiple funded initiatives and awards, I aim to advance trustworthy AI solutions while mentoring teams to deliver impactful results.
