Mark Desalegn

I’m an entry-level accountant who enjoys turning skills into tangible results. I’m passionate about joining an organization that fosters a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and personal growth.

My experience includes serving customers as a Customers Service Officer (Sept 2025 – CONTINUE) and supporting member service as a Member Service Officer (Dec 2025 – CONTINUE). I’ve also worked as a Marketing Officer (Feb 2024 – CONTINUE) and as a CBE Operator (Jan 2022 – Jan 2023) at Zerlefre SACCO.

Alongside my SACCO and banking-related work, I bring a teaching background from Shaafamo Woreda Highschool (Feb 2024 – CONTINUE). I’m also certified through Peachtree Accounting online courses (Dec 2023 – Feb 2023) and earned a Web Developer certificate (Private Mar 2020).

I lead with active listening, strong communication, and analytical thinking—then back it up with MS Office, data analysis, and problem solving. I’m motivated to apply my accounting foundation (Accounting and Financr Degree, 3.5 GPA) while contributing with teamwork, leadership, and time management.
