I'm looking to build and evaluate AI systems where rigorous measurement, cost awareness, and evidence-based decisions matter.

I'm completing Data Science and Applied Mathematics Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey while building AI systems that prioritize measurable evidence over assumptions.

As a freelance AI engineer and data annotator, I evaluated language and vision-language models for accuracy and relevance and prepared complex datasets for generative AI training. I built a document OCR pipeline with human review, benchmarking Qwen2.5-VL against Opus under a constrained budget.

I've also deployed MyMemo, a multimodal memory app, on AWS using Docker, and built a Chess Tutor that separates Stockfish-verified facts from LLM judgment. I discard approaches when measurement shows they do not perform.
