What I'm looking for

An inquiry-based bilingual Primary Years role where I can plan immersive lessons, support early literacy, and collaborate with colleagues to foster a growth mindset in multicultural classrooms.

I’m a dedicated bilingual educator with a Bachelor’s Degree in Letters (Portuguese & English) and a Postgraduate degree in Neurosciences, Education, and Child Development. I’m driven by fostering early literacy, language acquisition, and critical thinking in the Primary Years.

In my current role as an English Teacher for Elementary I, I plan and deliver immersive, experiential English lessons aligned with Cambridge’s Global English framework. I design inquiry-based learning materials centered on active learning, collaborative projects, and meaningful language production, using neuropedagogical strategies to support children’s cognitive and socio-emotional development.

I also bring that learner-centered approach to younger groups through my Kindergarten English teaching experience using the Cel Lep bilingual system. Previously, I taught Portuguese for middle school and provided tutoring support for Portuguese grammar, reading, and essay writing, and I completed a Teaching Internship in Early Years with toddlers and young children.

I’m an active Research Scholar at the GEICS Study Group and support student life through leadership roles like Secretary of the Sharks Cheerleading Team. Across every setting, I collaborate on planning, build caring classroom communities, and nurture a growth mindset—especially in multicultural, student-centered environments.
