Maria Pannakan

At Verso International School, I develop whole-school EAL support through assessment, resources, support services, and literacy teaching for Grades 5–8. I co-plan and co-teach project-based learning while supporting EAL students across Grades 1–8.

I've taught EAL in international schools in Thailand and Malaysia, supporting students in Grades 2–6 and collaborating closely with grade-level teams. My work includes EAL admissions screening, parent resources, summer school, and professional development in differentiation, co-teaching, WIDA testing, balanced literacy, and content and language goals.

I'm committed to student success, children’s first languages, data-informed instruction, sustainable education, design thinking, and meaningful team collaboration.
