At UCHealth, I provide postpartum home and telehealth visits for mothers and infants, assessing recovery, newborn well-being, feeding, and psychosocial needs.
I conduct individualized lactation assessments and support breastfeeding, pumping, milk supply, latch, and positioning. I also check infant weights and coordinate follow-up with pediatric, obstetric, lactation, and community resources.
At Larimer County Department of Health and Environment, I provided home and telehealth nursing visits through the Nurse-Family Partnership model. I used motivational interviewing and reflective practice while supporting clients with pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, infant-care, and parenting education.
Earlier, at Poudre Valley Hospital, I provided nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and newborn transition periods. I’m a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, bilingual in English and Spanish, and I’m pursuing a Master of Science in Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner studies.
