Maria Henriquez
@mariahenriquez
Biology graduate committed to learning, fieldwork, and wildlife monitoring impact.
What I'm looking for
I’m a dynamic, creative person committed to lifelong learning, capable of adapting easily to new environments and challenges. My academic background and professional training have prepared me to contribute effectively in any field assigned to me, while staying ready to learn fast.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (UNAH) and have built practical technical strength through advanced tools like Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, plus intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint. I’m comfortable supporting documentation and communication for research and community-focused activities.
My hands-on experience includes workshops and volunteering focused on wildlife and field methods: I’ve trained in working with and identifying snakes, safe handling in natural and urban environments, taxidermy, and the use of camera traps. I also have team training for microscopy equipment and telemetry equipment, which strengthens my ability to support technical field workflows.
I’m motivated by real-world impact through volunteering and learning initiatives—participating in fundraising and in wildlife monitoring activities, along with environmental education projects. I enjoy collaborative environments and I’m excited to apply my skills to help teams achieve conservation, research, or community goals.
